A few words from Brittany:

Hi everyone, I just want to let you know why I’m interested in these programs and a
little about myself. I am overjoyed by being given this opportunity to work with this
amazing program, and I have many ideas.

First off, I would like to let you know I plan
on working to grow all of our programs and hopefully expanding into the future. I
really would like to hear from each of you what you are looking for/craving in the
community. I am just a regular mom trying to fill the void that I wish I had had here in
our lovely hometown when I first started out as a parent.

As a mother of 3 boys who has raised my boys in Eureka, I know personally how hard
it can be to raise kids here, especially in the winter months. My main focus is to close
the gap and hopefully bring a variety of resources while maintaining a small-town
feel. My enthusiasm for making our community better and bringing families together will be a wonderful asset to this amazing town.

My favorite way to spend my off hours is with my family outdoors, whether it is
hiking, fishing, dirt biking, or being in the garden. I love a good book in the winter
with some warm fresh-baked goods.

You’re turn! Tell me about yourself!

Logan Health provides expert medical information and support to Family Strong participants.by interacting with Family Strong caregivers and littles during gatherings and by providing expert guidance through online posts and recruited guests at gatherings.

As an ACM-RN Clinic Care Coordinator at Logan Health Primary Care – Eureka, I assist patients with long-term chronic conditions with resources and care planning to help them live the best quality of life possible.

I also work with our care team and the community by providing outreach and community involvement.

My goal when taking this position was to create a community program for families with young children. After a lot of discussion, collaboration, research, and adaptability, Family Strong was born. This population and service is close to my heart as I too am a mother in our community with three children ranging from 12 years to 3 years of age. I love being a nurse for our community and meeting our needs as best I can. I also love being a mother and watching the amazing people my children grow more into each and every day. This is why Family Strong, and what it adds to our community, is so dear and near my heart.

My name is Christy Lytle, I am an RN at Logan Health Eureka.

I grew up in Eureka and received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Montana State.   I have worked in Labor and Delivery, NICU and Lactation for the 20 years prior to moving back to Eureka.

I became a  Board Certified Lactation Consultant(IBCLC) in 2017 and can see patients for Lactation issues in the clinic or at Family Strong.  The unit that I worked in prior was very developmentally focused, so I am happy to help evaluate growth and development with your infants and children.  I have also worked closely with OT/PT and Nutrition in my past.  I came from a progressive hospital setting, where we aggressively treated for oral restrictions.  I am comfortable doing oral evaluations prior to and after revisions.

I grew up in Eureka and am happy to be back!  I certainly missed the mountains and my family.  In the summer we love to camp and swim.  In the winter I spend most of my time watching our kids play football, basketball and dance.

My goal is to help facilitate healthy relationships between families, help people to feel supported in raising their children, and to offer feeding/lactation assistance as needed. I hope to see you at Family Strong.

Zero to Five Lincoln County is a multi-sector, countywide collaborative working together to make a positive impact in the lives of families with young children.

As the Local Collaboration Coordinator for Zero to Five Lincoln County, I have the pleasure of working with a wide range of partners throughout the county to create playful, engaging opportunities for families with young children.  I believe that we learn best when we are having fun, and a young child's primary job is to play!

I support the Family Strong team by bringing partners together to collaborate and to integrate resources, as well as helping to build capacity and to create sustainability.  Together, we make a difference.
